Wine & Canvas Fundraising Event Aug 26th

Wine and Canvas returns to Harmony on Saturday, August 26th for our 3nd Annual Miss Harmony Scholarship Fundraising Event! Join us for a night of painting and fun for a good cause at Wheeler's Bar & Grill! Be sure to register with Wine & Canvas in advance! Stop by the event to check out our silent auction items, register to win door prizes, or purchase a meat raffle ticket- grand prize is a $400 bundle from Oak Meadows!

Event runs from 4:30-9:30, painting class from 6pm-9pm.

Amish Tours of Harmony

Book a tour of the Amish countryside with Southeast Minnesota's first Amish tour company. Amish Tours of Harmony offers van tours at 10:30am and 1:30pm Monday through Saturday, or offer guide services for bus groups or personal car tours. Tours book out of the Sugar Plum House near the Harmony Visitor Center. Tours may be set up in advance by calling 800-752-6474. No Sunday tours are offered, so please plan your trip accordingly!

Niagara Cave Tours & Mini Golf

 Visit Harmony's own Niagara Cave, consistently rated one of the top cave destinations in the United States! Visitors can take a tour every 15-20 minutes, seven days per week. Visitors to Niagara Cave will also enjoy their 18 hole mini golf course, gemstone mining, concessions stands, and an air conditioned gift shop. Don't forget your jacket and shoes! Niagara Cave remains at a consistant 48 degrees year round. Cave hours are 9:30am - 5:30pm, 7 days per week through Labor Day.

Stop in On the Crunchy Side, Estelle's Eatery, The Village Square, Harmony House Restaurant or Wheeler's Bar & Grill while you are in town for a delicious meal! The Root River Skills School

Looking for a fun and unique experience? Look no further. Eagle Bluff’s Skills School is offering 17 classes over the course of August. Classes are focused on helping adult learners gain new skills for joyful living and a sustainable world. Join us for our Family Canoeing experience on August 8th, or spend time with one of our Amish instructor as you learn to make bread, jam, or can veggies. Perhaps you’d like to learn more about safely using and properly caring for your chainsaw, if so the Chainsaw Techniques class is just for you. Maybe you are looking to get into woodworking, we still have 2 spots left in our popular Wood Bowl Turning Workshop being held August 12 & 13. The opportunities for learning and fun are endless! Winneshiek Wildberry Winery

The Winneshiek Wildberry Winery is open for daily wine tasting. They also house a restaurant, catering, event space and gift shop. Their summer and fall hours are M-Sat: 10-5 and Sundays: 12:30-5. Every 2nd Sunday, they have brunch from 10-1. Visit this 150-year family farm located just 20 minutes from Harmony!

Visit the only childhood home of Laura Ingalls Wilder still in its original location at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Park & Museum located in Burr Oak, IA, just 20 minutes from Harmony. They are open M-Sat: 9-5 and Sundays: noon-4.
