The Harmony Visitor Center is now open to the public at 15 2nd Street NW, near the Trailhead Park. The visitor center office is now open, May through September, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Visitor Center provides accessible restrooms, areas for pets to stretch, and information about Harmony businesses and attractions as well as information about the surrounding area, including maps, brochures, directions, and much more.
The center is staffed throughout the summer with friendly staff and volunteers, ready to help visitors. A brochure rack, in the hallway, a bulletin board full of information about Harmony businesses and the restrooms are still accessible when the center is not staffed. The center also has volunteer opportunities available for individuals who wish to help promote Harmony.
The Harmony Visitor Center is also noted as an Explore Minnesota Affiliate Welcome Center, which allows it to distribute official Explore Minnesota publications and maps. The center is promoted in Explore Minnesota materials as a place to stop for information, restrooms and guidance.
