“Let’s Have Harmony” Performance
Coming to Harmony’s 2025 4th of July Celebration!
This is a fundraiser for the McMichael Elevator Renovation project.
This production is a short, one-act play. It is collaboration between the Harmony Area Historical Society, Jackie Whitacre, (the English and Theater teacher at Fillmore Central High School) and Harmony community members.
The original script for this play was written by Carol Rhodes and Marilyn Trouten. Originally titled “Town Meeting,” it tells the story of how Harmony got its name. It was presented by the HAPA centennial committee at the Old Legion Hall in October, 1995 and has been presented several times since, at least once over the 4th. Some may remember these performances and may have even participated as actors and crew members.
