The “Let’s have Harmony” production over the 4th of July weekend
was a resounding success!
This production is a short, one-act play. It is collaboration between the Harmony Area Historical Society, Jackie Whitacre, (the English and Theater teacher at Fillmore Central High School) and Harmony community members.
The play was greatly appreciated by enthusiastic audiences of over 100 in attendance on Friday and nearly 100 on Saturday, raising nearly $2000 for the McMichael Elevator Restoration project. The actors did an amazing job!! The venue was just perfect. It was a delightful addition to Harmony’s 4th of July celebrations.
A huge shout-out to all who made this possible.
- Author of the play, Carol Rhodes (along with the late Marilyn Trouten)
- Director, Jackie Whitacre for taking on this project and pulling it all together right at the end of a busy school year.
- The volunteer cast and crew members who brought this vision to life.
