From one day trips to family vacations, Harmony is a great destination for everyone.
Day Trip
Start by stopping in at the Harmony Visitor Center to learn about the area Enjoy a meal from the Harmony House, Estelle’s Eatery or On The Crunchy Side. Visit Niagara Cave just 10 minutes south of Harmony where you can enjoy a cave tour, which last about an hour, mini golf, shop in their gift shop or enjoy a picnic outside. Enjoy an Amish Tour either on a guided van or have a guide join you for a private tour in your vehicle. Amish tours typically take about 2.5 hours. Visit our shops to find a variety of items, including antiques, furniture, quilts, plants, apparel and gifts. Get some fresh air and play a round of disc golf, enjoy a picnic, or take a bike ride on the bike trail if you brought your bikes. You won’t be disappointed visiting Harmony.
Weekend Ideas
The Harmony area is full of fun things to see and do! If you arrive on Friday night, check yourself into your lodgings and then step into a culinary adventure at Estelle’s Eatery & Bar where everything is homemade with love. On Saturday, have breakfast at any of our excellent Main Street restaurants. Try the homemade cinnamon rolls at Harmony House, or the weekend brunch at On the Crunchy Side! If you’re not a big breakfast eater, then save it up for lunch! There are plenty of places to get a great lunch in Harmony!
After your meal take a stroll down our Main Street, visiting all the antique and gift shops. Plan your Amish Tour for Saturday, as the Amish don’t accept visitors on Sundays! Amish Tours of Harmony offers 10:30am and 1:30pm van tours, in addition to private tours in your own car! Amish tours take 2-2.5 hours. After your Amish tour, visit our Disc Golf Course.
Don’t forget to stop in our Visitor Center while in Harmony! We have menus from all of the local restaurants, brochures on area attractions, and information on local events. The Visitor Center is a great place to stop and plan your weekend.
On Sunday, take a drive out to the Antique Mall and Amish Furniture Mall located on the north side of Harmony on Highway 52. Niagara Cave is open on Sundays with one hour cave tours. How about a round of mini golf at Niagara Cave before heading back to your favorite Harmony restaurant for lunch?

After your trip to the Visitor Center, head out to Niagara Cave, less than ten minutes away from Harmony. A cave tour takes about one hour. After the tour, head back to Harmony to shop our variety of gift and antique shops and have a satisfying lunch. There are plenty of places to get a great lunch in Harmony!
Amish Tours of Harmony has van tours leaving at 10:30am and 1:30pm- book your tour in advance if you are on a tight schedule! They can also help you arrange a private tour in your own car. Amish tours last 2-2.5 hours. After your tour you may still have time to visit the Antique Mall and the Amish Furniture Mall on the north end of Harmony.
Wake up early on Sunday morning and get moving to Lanesboro, MN. Lanesboro offers quaint stores as well as tubing and river activities. After you’ve taken in Lanesboro, take the Scenic Byway through Whalan, Peterson, Rushford and then on into Houston.
Outdoor Ideas
Whether you are here for a few days or just for a few hours, there are plenty of outdoor activities for you to choose from! With over 60 miles of paved biking trail in the area, you can start in Harmony and bike the entire trail if you so choose.
Considering a dip in the river? Tubing, canoeing and kayaking are great options if you’d like to cool off on the water. There are several businesses in Bluff Country that offer water activities.
Have you ever been on a high ropes course? Eagle Bluff in Lanesboro is a great place to visit if you want to spend some time outdoors. They have regular high ropes challenges for all ages, and a variety of other activities.
