Ladies’ Day Out @ Harmony MN
Mar 10 @ 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Ladies Day Out in Harmony will be a fun filled day designed to beat your cabin fever!
10am-3pm Shop a pop up shop of your favorite direct marketing vendors in the back room at Estelle’s Eatery, and at Julie’s Village Java. Shop Thirty-One, Pampered Chef, Usborne Books, Perfectly Posh, Scentsy, Revital-U, Lip Sense, Air Moji and learn more about Just for Kix!
10am-3pm- Mary Kay Open House at Koliha Insurance Building, downtown Harmony.
1pm: Enjoy a free showing of Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion at the JEM Theatre sponsored by the HACC!
5pm: Wine & Canvas painting party at The Old Legion Hall (painting to be announced) This event will also feature a pizza buffet catered by On The Crunchy Side, and adult beverages will be available!
Also featuring fun events with Kingsley Mercantile, Boutique on Main, Julie’s Village Java and more! Details to follow.
Easter Egg Hunt @ Harmony Community Center

Fillmore Central’s ECFE is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Two separate hunts are available- one for kids ages 5 and under, and the other for kids grades K-6th. Bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny! Craft tables, free cookies and milk and more will be available. Sponsored by Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce Businesses.

Root River Trail Towns Annual 60-Mile Garage Sale @ Harmony, Preston, Fountain, Lanesboro, Whalan, Peterson, Rushford, Rushford Village & Houston, MN

The nine communities along the Root River Trail System are hosting city-wide garage sales this Friday & Saturday. It is free to post your sale, stay tuned for instructions on how to do so! Harmony Sings 2nd Annual Amateur Youth Vocal Competition @ The Old Legion Hall
Jul 1 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

We are excited to partner with Minnesota Sings once again to offer Harmony Sings, our 2nd annual youth vocal contest. Open to Harmony residents ages 15-25, contestants will be given an opportunity to sing a song of their chosing with a backing track for an opportunity to win some pretty amazing prizes! The winner and runner up will be honored in our annual 4th of July parade, and be sent on to compete at the state-wide level at the official Minnesota Sings event in September. Registration for Harmony Sings will begin in mid-April, so stay tuned for more details!

Harmony’s 4th of July Celebration

Celebrate Independance Day in Harmony with our annual celebration! Enjoy our Grand Parade, bounce houses, food vendors and more in Selvig Park, the Jim Busta Band featuring polka legend Mollie B., a kiddie tractor pull, beer tent for the grown ups, a pancake breakfast, fireworks and more! More details to come, but save the date now!

Customer Appreciation Supper @ Selvig Park

The Harmony area businesses would like to thank their customers by offering them a free supper in Selvig Park. Come and picnic with us during National Night Out!

5:30 pm-7:00 pm Customer Appreciation Supper. Brats and Hot Dogs, beans, chips, coffee or water. Sponsored by Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce Businesses

6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Fillmore Country Sheriff’s Department, Harmony Ambulance and Harmony Volunteer Fire Department. Check out the police car, fire truck and ambulance and see how it all works!

6:00 pm- 8:00 pm Ice Cream Social hosted by the 2018 Miss Harmony Court. $3 Sundaes and $1 Cones.

Harmony’s Taste of the Trail @ Harmony Visitor Center

Harmony, Preston & Fountain host week 2 of the Root River Trail Towns’ Taste of the Trail, a series of three Saturdays in September. Visit us at the trailhead in Harmony from 10am-3pm for a taste of Harmony! Visit booths from our local businesses, taste samples from Harmony restaurants, and enjoy music and games! Similar events (with their own individual flare) will be held in Preston and Fountain on this same day from 10am-3pm.

Week 1: Saturday, September 8th- Lanesboro, Peterson & Whalan

Week 3: Saturday, September 22nd- Rushford Area & Houston

Fall Foliage Weekend @ Harmony, MN
Oct 5 – Oct 7 all-day

Experience the beauty of an authentic farming community during the harvest season! Take a tour through Amish country, visit shops and farmers’ markets, enjoy church suppers, tour Niagara Cave and enjoy our beautifully decorated downtown. Enjoy lunch or dinner in one of our excellent local eateries. Check local papers for residential garage sale listings.

Haunted Harmony @ Harmony, MN

Help us kick off Monster Bash Haunted House by celebrating Haunted House! Experience a decorated for Halloween town ready to help you get into the Halloween spirit! Saturday events will include: a Grand Parade, Pumpkin Decorating Craft, Halloween movies and youth costume contest at the JEM, trick-or-treating at local businesses and of course Monster Bash Haunted House! More details closer to event date.

Holiday Fest Art, Craft & Gift Expo @ Fillmore Central High School
Nov 17 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Shop over 50 vendors in two gyms at Fillmore Central High School. Your holiday shopping can’t get any easier with a wide array of hand crafted and direct marketing items to choose from. Vendor fees to be announced in September, 2018.

Small Business Saturday & Tree Lighting Ceremony @ Harmony

Show you love for Harmony during Small Business Saturday. New in 2018- We will celebrate the beginning of the season with a holiday tree lighting ceremony- more details to be announced closer to event date.

Breakfast with Santa @ Harmony Community Center
Dec 1 @ 8:30 am – 11:30 am

The Harmony Lions host their annual pancake breakfast while local Harmony businesses Bluff Country Computer Works, Harmony Telephone Company, DianeH Photography and First Southeast Bank sponsor photos for just $1 with Santa. (Proceeds benefit the Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce.) Kids can shop for gifts for parents in the ECFE Kids’ Gift Shopping Room, write a letter to Santa, or decorate a cookie with Gundersen Harmony Clinic. The Greenfield Lutheran Youth will host their annual Cookie & Candy Sale, and JEM Theatre will sponsor a holiday themed movie after the Breakfast event is complete. More details to follow closer to event date. You won’t want to miss this affordable, family friendly event!
