The trail travels through lovely countryside and amongst the wildlife. The trail head starts right behind the Visitor Center passing through a variety of wooded areas and large panoramic views of rolling hills, spring-fed Camp Creek and pastoral farm sites. The trail head features a new park, picnic shelter, play ground, parking lot and Visitor Center.
The Root River Trail Towns is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Harmony-Preston and Root River Bike Trail System, and also promoting our region. We host a series of events along the bike trail including our June 60-Mile Multi Community Garage Sale, a three-day Bluff and Valley Bike Tour, September's series of Taste of the Trail events. We invite you to experience the beauty of bluff country and enjoy your time in our area!
