Harmony Area
Chamber of Commerce
The Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in supporting our community.
We work alongside the City of Harmony and the Harmony Economic Development Authority (EDA)
to bring a shared vision for growth and quality of life.
We promote our members, coordinate community events, and partner with organizations like
Explore Minnesota Tourism and the Root River Trail Towns group to increase tourism throughout Southeast Minnesota.
Our primary focus includes:

Visitor
Center
Our Visitor Center greets 8,000 visitors per year. We manage the staff and volunteers, and help connect those visitors to chamber businesses. It is usually the first stop for visitors to Harmony.

Promotions
& Livability
We plan and implement community events such as the Harmony 4th of July Celebration, Fall for Harmony, Breakfast with Santa, Tree Lighting and Holidays in Harmony. We also promote member events.

Tourism & Marketing
We create strategic marketing plans to attract visitors to Harmony using print, social media and digital promotions. We also participate in outreach events to represent our community and members.

Website
& SEO
Our website features a travel blog, visitor tips, itineraries, events, and member business listings. With thousands of visits annually, users can explore dining, shopping, lodging, attractions and more.

Information regarding this is typically sent out in early October each year.
We are now taking submissions
for the 2026 Guidebook.
We also offer coop advertising opportunities throughout the year for our member businesses. These are affordable advertising opportunities in communities that have shown strong interest in trips to the Harmony area.
